RITS is looking for an enthusiastic native English speaking teacher with at least 3 years experience. The English Centre provides IELTS preparation courses, general and academic English to foundation, Year 1&2 AF/BA university students aiming to go abroad. The English Language centre is highly organised and well managed with an open and friendly office environment - the majority of our teachers have been teaching here for 4+ years!
Teaching English to university students - a mixture of EAP, IELTS and General English depending on the applicant's previous experience.
Teachers are expected to prepare their own classes based on the curriculum provided. They are responsible for all record keeping of coursework, tests and exams.
There will be a maximum of 21 teaching hours per week, Mon-Fri only.
The successful candidate must have a university degree and extensive experience in IELTS teaching (all four skills). Ideally, the candidate will also have a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL and relevant teaching experience in ESOL and/or EAP. Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, cultural awareness and outstanding organisational skills are also required
We offer a competitive monthly salary (8,000-11,000RMB depending on experience), visa, paid holidays, medical coverage, help finding accommodation, small classes, good teaching hours (Mon – Fri, no evenings) and most importantly, a great working environment. This is a renewable 9 month contract.
