Support staff development by designing, implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of training and development programs.
Implement skill specific programs, prepare and deliver training based on the needs of the employment functions.
Conduct New Hire Orientation Program and coordinate training with various manufacturing members responsible.
Facilitate English as a Second Language (ESL) Program and internal computer training.
Initiate and lead an Activity Steering Committee to organize staff activities.
Organize and oversee the hiring of external training providers.
Responsible for the Training Budget.
Maintain training records and metrics, track the effectiveness of programs and prepare reports and presentations for management.
Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Training, Business Management or related discipline.
Recognized HR designation and Training/Train the Trainer Certificate would be an asset.
5+ years hands-on experience in human resources including a learning and development position, in a manufacturing environment, preferably electronics.
Solid experience in training design, developing training materials and delivery.
Excellent facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Superior PC skills, specifically MS Office software package.
Passion for training, HR and the development of people.
Self-motivated, innovative and creative with regard to organizational change and training program development.
Proven planning, organizational abilities and strategic development abilities.
