seed's, pots and terrace furniture...
Where can I buy some nice terracotta or galvanised pots? Seed's etc....?
Also, where can I get some garden furniture for the terrace?
Any ideas greatly appreciated!
Seeds, for flowers, tomateos or what ? I've seen some seeds in Jusco on the checkout counter that is roughly in the middle of the kitchen section (on 3rd floor is it?)
I think if you go to one of the local flower/plant shops you will be able to get the terracota pots you are looking for. They'll be used, but you should be able to buy them cheap (have a local buy them for you). I was never able to find decent potting soil however, in a nice big bag like I could back home. I had very mixed results growing container veggies on my balcony with the crappy soil the local flower shop sold me.
I only know one big shop in Jida, on the other side from the Post Office. There is a CBR (ex Zhuhai Industrial Bank ?building) building. If you face it on the other side of the post office, you'll see on the left side there will be an entrance into a flower/plant shop.
I saw some pots sold in Pi fa lu. You can check there as well as the garden furniture.
I managed to get some seeds (in a kind of soft drinks can?!) in Carrefour. They had tomato, cucumber, mint, basil, pepper etc...
I just need some bigger pots (8 tomato plants coming out of something the size of a coke can....) and some of the strange plant/soil medium that is used here...
Something nice? Zinc/galvanised, rattan, terracotta? Is there a garden centre anywhere?
