Nice & Quality Furniture in Zhuhai
Hi there, I am a new comer to Zhuhai. Can anyone tell me where to find some nice, quality furniture in Zhuhai? I am looking for several pieces for my new flat. Thanks. Claire.
There are a good place in Ji Da Shopping Center at 1st Floor
Head out to ZhongShan (san Xiang) they have some fab pieces there and the market area is HUGE! You can take the 31 bus from Gong Bei and it is the last stop! They don't speak that much English there but they have calculators, just make sure you take your address in Chinese characters so that they can arrange delivery for you.
There are quite a few shops in Qianshan area (before Huafa). If fact if you are coming from downtown to Huafa before the river on your right there is a huge mall with furniture.
You can check Jusco 5th and 6th floor.
I am not sure where in Jida on the first floor? But in Zhuhai Duty Free (which is the extension of Jida malls) on 4th, 5th and 6th floor there is tons of furniture.
They are a little expensive but seems good quality.

It depends on the style you're looking for. I found some great quality pieces at IKEA in Guangzhou. The sofa even has a 5 year guarantee. I like that I can browse online on their website, know that the price is haggle-free, and make a day trip there just to place my order. There is an extra charge for delivery depending on how much you order (I paid 600 rmb for delivery of my dining room table, 6 chairs, and a sofa).
I completely forgot about Pi Fa Lu (wholesale street, sort of opposite Phoenix Garden). There are lots of small furniture shops. It's not the expensive high quality type but you can find some decent and reasonably priced one.
I believe some shops take orders to make furniture for you. They don't speak English there either.
