Help! How do I find a great Ayi?
I just moved to Zhuhai with my husband and three daughters. I am looking for an Ayi that has experience working for a foreign household. I really need her to be great with babies since I have a 10 month old. I went thru an Ayi agency and found someone who came for a week. She was a sweet girl but zero experience and not so good with kids. I am willing to pay more than the going rate if the Ayi is exceptionally good. Any tips on how to find my Mary Poppins?
Hi, honestly it is a bit challenging. I will ask my ayi if she knows anyone willing to work full time and take care of the babies. But it is not likely to find an ayi with an experience working in a foreign family and taking care of foreign babies. What you will have to do is to train the person to follow your ways. But even then there will be challenges.
Where do you live? Location is also important to some ayis.
