Day trip to Zhuhai- any recommendations
Hi,
We live in Macau and are planning to visit Zhuhai for the day, can anyone recommend activities for a couple with an infant? Nice lunch ideally alfresco, something to see, interesting shops ( is the shopping really worthwhile?).

I suggest you visiting JiuZhouCheng in Jida district which is the shopping center of Zhuhai. Place is clean and not as crowded as GongBei( another shopping center near the macau-zhuhai border)and you're going to find nice lunch of any type.There's also a museum and a big park nearby for your kid( probally the bigggest downtown park).You may take a taxi to the destination (taxi fee about 10RMB from the Gongbei-Macau border).
Jiuzhoucheng malls are great. The museum opposite the malls is also nice and there is a park (Haibin park) behind it. The taxi fee will come to 15-17rmb depending on traffic. You can also take bus #2 to get there directly.
If you don't want to leave far from the border, come outside to the main big square and move straight away from the immigration building, you will soon come to Vanguard and there are also tons of shops in the mall (and around). But the area will much more crowded.
