Is it true that if you buy a flat in Zhuhai, you can get a cross border plate so you can drive in Macau and Zhuhai?
If true, how much must the flat cost? Any other details?

Not 100% sure but I heard it is around 100,000RMB. Might be totally wrong but that's what I've heard on the grapevine...

You can get a flat in Zhuhai for 100,000 RMB? Where?

It should be a RMB 1M flat for the "free" plate. However I am not sure if it works for non-Macau resident.

1xx,xxx was for the plate only via unofficial rout. Again I am not sure if it works for non-Macau resident.

I was saying that a plate costs 100,000RMB. Sorry, I misread the post above.

I heard you had to pay a lot but also have the right connections within the local government, so it isn't just having the right amount of money.

To my knowledge that worked equally for Hong Kong residents to drive into Hong Kong, but with queues up to several years waiting time, depending on the border you want to cross.
Chinese Nationals are can't be registered as driver neither drive the car (Up to 3 drivers can be registered)

No idea if the rules are still in force.
