From the creators of the Korean hits “Jump” and “Breakout”, "Bibap" is a nonverbal performance which combines eating and various performing arts on stage. Inspired by the popular Korean dish, “bibimbap”, this show has been presented and awesomely received in many countries including the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, being currently the fashionable tourist attraction in Seoul!
The story takes place in a thrilling restaurant kitchen, where two rival and talented chefs compete in a cook-off. In a colourful and much lively production designed to awake your senses, the artists throw in beat-boxing and singing, merging it with the sounds of rinsing, cutting, frying and, of course, eating. In this demonstration of motions that mixes b-boying, vibrant dance moves, acrobatics, martial arts, and music, maybe you will be invited as a mystery guest in the “Bibap restaurant”!
