Byer Dental (Zhuhai)

Hi.I just want to inquire how much is to cement a false teeth.because my false teeth it's already loosen.and need to cement so it will tighten again.than you.

I regret not reviewing Byer since my visit there for a cleaning last year because it wasn't an ideal experience. Keep in mind that I'm not one to carelessly dump on anybody, or their business, unless there is a true reason to do so... like during the Fake Beer debacle of 2009 http://www.deltabridges.com/forum/zhuhai-wall/migraines-fake-beer-around... I now take greater care when drinking at ALL restaurants and bars in Zhuhai.

My experience at Byer in Gongbei started great and I had a comfortable feeling from the waiting room. The woman who greets visitors was charming, no doubt chosen for her looks. Unfortunately, when I got into the dentist's room the feeling began to change. I was assigned to an female assistant who was tasked with cleaning my teeth with a motorized tool. That's pretty common in China and I accepted it. But when I started to taste blood I asked her to stop. My teeth were getting cleaned just fine, but she was digging too deep at the gum line. I was spitting blood when I asked for the dentist to come back in.

He said the blood was normal, but I'm must say that you should not have to spit visible amounts of blood during a routine cleaning. I requested the hand-scraping tool instead, which is less invasive. Begrudgingly the male dentist stayed and finished the cleaning.

Basically, the experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth, literally. I was hoping the visit to Byer would keep my dentist visits local, and cheaper. (My dentist in Macau charges about 300MOP per cleaning) Since last year's experience I have decided to continue to go to Macau for the regular cleaning and pay more. If you are a foreigner looking for higher quality dental care and willing to pay for it, I do suggest Dr. Kate at Health and Care in Macau.
