Chinese health insurance

thanks. I am actually looking into an insurance that is underwritten by AIG (don't know yet if that is good or bad!) or Allianz and I have to agree that the cost is pretty steep. USD 16,000 - 25,000 per year or more for a family of four.
Paying cash is fine for most situations, but what would you do in a catastrophic situation where you need to be hospitalized for many days. I just don't know that I want to take that risk!

Franck, no worries! they say the PPTP is more easily blocked by local firewall so I'd suggest you take an extra 20 bucks from ur pocket to use the SSL since i cant guarantee that the PPTP works under the internet censorship here.
sorry it's not much of an advice but I do think 60 bucks a year (it's like what, 20 cents a day?) for internet freedom n security is quite reasonable -

My other half also loves to cycle. Recently he went to Kaiping on a cycling trip and had a great weekend!
At the moment we are based in Shenzhen We'll be moving here in about two months when our baby arrives! Plan is to live in Hua Fa New Town - where are you living and can you send me your email so he can contact you once we are set up over here so he can get out and about again!

hey Franck, Im not a tech savvy either but I think it's really easy to use.
upon completion of order, you get an confirmation email with a link to install their program. install it, get the VPN running and you are good to go. -

you can find chinese mochi-like thingy in zhuhai but the texture is so much different from japanese one...
